SoftSpec - Project requirements
capture software
SoftSpec defines a method for capturing project requirements, for analysing, ordering
and prioritising those requirements to produce an organised development cycle, and
for managing the development, test and documentation of the requirements to the
finished product.
The current version is aimed at software developers, forthcoming versions will widen
the scope of controlled objects to include many other projects to the point where
SoftSpec becomes the first choice for any project analysis task.

Yes, SoftSpec requirements are defined in SoftSpec - we actually use our own
software. Use of SoftSpec controls 'feature-creep' and allows straighforward
management of estimates of time to completion using auto-generated spreadsheets.
Future versions are planned to integrate closely with Microsoft Project, but
feature creep control means this won't happen in verision 1
SoftSpec is a work-in-progress, full details of launch date and pricing will be available
soon.
